Don Cactus campsite opened in 1973. Over the past 35 years we have continued to grow, develop and diversify so we can always offer the level of service expected of a first class campsite.

Amongst other installations you will find the bar and restaurant, with its terrace, looking directly out to sea, a supermarket, a children’s play park, a barbecue area, a swimming pool free access, car wash, motor camper service area, fridge hire. In the campsite you can enjoy sports facilities such as football pitch, basketball court, petanque area. We remind you also, that we can book tickets for you to visit the Alhambra Palace in Granada.

Additionally, in the swimming pool area, you can also play with all the water jets of our mini waterpark, and jump onto our bouncing area!!!

Children's Bathrooms

For children we have themed children’s bathrooms to make going to the bathroom an experience!!!

We also have a bathtub so that babies can enjoy bathing at our facilities.

Tropical pool

Our swimming pool is the heart of our identity. There are two waterfalls, fountains and a Jacuzzi making it the ideal place to relax. There are both changing rooms and hammocks. One part of the pool is specially designed for young children with a beach-like entrance to the water.

The vegetation of the site, along with the sub tropical climate we enjoy, turn it into a veritable tropical style swimming pool. It can be used for most of the year.

First line of the seaside

We are situated on the beach of Carchuna. The beach is sandy, usually is quiet and runs from Cape Sacratif to Calahonda; it is almost 80 m wide and 5 km. long. The sea is clear blue with abundant fish.

Four kilometers to the west there is a nudist beach named La Joya, on the Cape Sacratif headland.

Six kilometers to the east is Cala la Rijana, with its clear turquoise water, it is ideal for diving all year round.

Outdoor gym

One of our recent improvements has been the addition of a health park; this consists of an outdoor gym area with exercise equipment especially useful for the over fifties. Our climate is such that these and other facilities can usually be used all year round.

Bathtub for pets

In our bathtub for pets, with an access ramp for greater convenience, they can cool down and wash off salt and sand after a fun day on the beach – or simply enjoy a nice bath!!!
